OLIVEUS PROJECT
OliveUs proudly collaborates with Print Factory on the InStill Life program, which invites students to explore and participate in real world issues by learning about the food we eat. Students explore the interconnectedness of learning and the relationships between themselves and others around the planet by creating greeting cards which they sell to finance microloans. www.oliveus.ca
The OliveUs Education Society was founded in 2009 as an initiative of Theo's Restaurant, with the goal to expand our commitment to education both locally and internationally. By creating and growing programs that promote engaged, meaningful learning we strive to enable learners of all ages to connect with the world they live in.
Theo's Greek Restaurant in Penticton, British Columbia opened in 1976, and for over thirty years, we have had the pleasure to support and lead cultural and education initiatives in our community and beyond. www.eatsquid.com
